Warning on faulty gas boilers
GET your gas appliances regularly checked for carbon monoxide fumes which could kill you.
That's the advice from Sheppey fire station crew manager Andy Friday after he attended an incident in Sheerness High Street on Sunday at 7.30am.
A faulty boiler was giving off fumes but the occupants of the house, who were asleep upstairs, were not hurt.
The fire station was alerted via a central calls centre which was automatically rung.
