The latest Draeger gas detection products on show
The very latest developments in personal gas detection and respiratory protective equipment will be shown on the Draeger stand at the Safety and Health Expo, 2008
In addition, and in line with the Draeger commitment to personal protection, the latest compressed air breathing apparatus will also be on display together with personal monitoring systems Making its debut at the show, the new X-am 5000 gas detection instrument is as small as a mobile phone yet provides accurate, reliable measurement of up to five gases.
Benefiting from extremely low operational costs, it also features the Draeger durable XXS sensor technology.
Specifically developed for personal monitoring applications and offering fast detection of combustible gases and vapours as well as oxygen, it can also monitor harmful concentrations of CO, H2S, CO2, Cl2, HCN, NH3, NO2, PH3 and SO2.
Also shown for the first time, the X-plore Pure Filter is ideal for use as a particle filter or in combination with gas filters and will be featured alongside the Draeger X-plore Series of filtering respirators. Available in limited life and reusable half-mask as well as full face mask versions, the X-plore Series offers a wide variety of masks for use in different applications.
For instance, incorporating the revolutionary "drop down" design and an innovative X-guided strap system, the Draeger X-plore 3300 limited life version is ideal for those requiring an economical yet comfortable respirator for short duration, one-off applications.
The X-plore 3500 offers reusable protection for longer term wear and, for those who need a higher level of safety, the full face mask X-plore 5500 provides complete respiratory and eye protection.
The display of portable gas detection equipment will include different instruments from the Draeger Pac and X-am ranges.
The Pac 7000 Personal Single Gas Monitor, for example, has been tailor made for constant use in potentially hazardous workplace environments.
Small and robust, it is ergonomic and intuitive, and is both powerful and economic to use.
Ideal for short term or routine applications such as industrial shutdowns, the new Draeger X-am 1100 Personal Air Monitor provides up to 120-days detection of explosive gases and vapours, including diesel fumes, as well as oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S).
Offering a cost effective, more convenient alternative to a rental device, this lightweight instrument eliminates the problems often associated with damage or loss and can simply be disposed of after use.
Easily upgraded to meet future needs and forming part of a revolutionary, complete system solution, the Draeger PSS 7000 Breathing Apparatus (BA) has been developed by professionals for use in even the most hostile of environments.
Boasting advanced technology as well as a modular design, this innovative set can be easily and quickly configured to suit different operational requirements.
It also provides seamless integration with head protection and communications equipment, as well as the Draeger FPS 7000 Full Face Mask which is also on display.
Draeger Safety division offers products, services and system solutions for all encompassing Risk Management such as personal and facility protection.
Customised system solutions include workshops, training and breathing gas management systems, diving, rescue and high temperature training systems, and tunnel rescue trains.
