SAFETY CHECK PROVES GOOD FOR MHS TENANT
A Routine gas safety check made one MHS Homes customer £100 richer.Ian Bowes from Gorse Avenue, Chatham won £100 in the gas inspection draw organised by the housing association in conjunction with Swale Heating.
Ian was picked from 1,400 tenants that had booked appointments for their annual gas safety check during the quarter of the year. He said: "At first I wouldn't believe the lady on the other end of the line. I thought it was a prank phone call so I was a bit suspicious.
"It's not every day you have someone phone up and tell you you've won £100 for doing nothing.
"I think it's a fantastic idea and a great incentive for people to get their gas checks done."
