"Our immediate recruitment needs will mainly be in and around Glasgowand Edinburgh, though as one of the biggest employers in Scotland, opportunities throughout the rest of country are constantly emerging.

"Currently, we're looking for people with utility, electrical contracting or street lighting experience to work on a number of projects, including utility connections, wind farm construction and building services."

But alongside the more traditional roles, Scottish Hydro Electric also have positions for domestic sales advisors, CORGI-registered service engineers, gas pipe fitters, project managers and contracts estimators.

Calum added: "Essentially, we have a wide range of fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic candidates who are eager to be a part of our exciting growth plans."
