Heating systems power flushing device for radiator cleaning.

Sentinel has launched a new lightweight unit in response to demand for power flushing in home heating systems.

According to the manufacturer, the Jetflush Junior uses a similar compact version of the submersible Grundfos pump that is used in its popular Jetflush 4 device.

Representatives for the domestic water treatment specialist singled out the Junior's "easy-to-observe" water level indicator, drain point and "inline" on/off control as particular installer-friendly characteristics.

Buildingtalk further notes that the device's typical working flow rates give it considerable "oomph" when used in conjunction with Sentinel's range of chemical cleaners to remove stubborn debris from domestic heating systems including radiators, pipework and heat exchangers.

"The new Jetflush Junior unit has been fantastically well received in France and Italy in particular, where it has been introduced to respond to the high number of smaller domestic heating systems that are typical of the traditionally larger numbers of apartment buildings," John Lynch, Sentinel's director of sales, told the publication.

He pointed out that the unit can "happily" deal with a typical eight-radiator heating system, meaning it has the capacity to cope with the majority of UK domestic systems.

Plumbing and heating professionals rate Sentinel's products for improving reliability, increasing fuel saving and extending the life of domestic heating systems.
