Boiler leak led to couple's death

A Guernsey couple were poisoned by fumes from a leaky boiler, an inquest has heard.
The bodies of Ray and Joyce Gauvain, both in their mid-60s, were found in October at their home in the Oberlands area of St Martin's.

The inquest heard they had died from carbon monoxide poisoning from their heating boiler which was in a dangerous condition due to a lack of maintenance.

The coroner returned verdicts of accidental death.
