Gas safety inspection and boiler installation training
At London Heating Services we occassionally offer apprenticeship placements which are preceeded with
full gas safety inspection theory and practice sessions which incorporate indepth technical training.
Trainees will attend central heating unit repair and installation practical trainig where they learn:
individual central heating units safety procedures
central heating controls
central heating systems operation
home c/h energy efficiency requirements
boiler operation, inspection and maintenance
boiler types and models
identify boiler parts
identify common boiler faults
gas, lpg and oil boilers - fuel safety issues
3 months training helps preparing to CORGI examination as well as updates trainee with the knowledge of
the modern gas boiler installation procedures, gas central heating units maintenance and safety requirements.
The course also covers a current gas safety legislation. This is to rise the trainee awarness and responsibility
towards health & safety issues.
